The Burkes moved into their 1940s vintage home in 1977. Shaping their garden with a natural look and an English cottage garden style has brought them great pleasure.. A myriad of garden art adds to the interest, along with an abundance of rocks collected from various excursions. The garden is multilevel, with an aviary, secret garden and koi pond with a water fall which can be heard from the various seating areas. A gazebo gives respite from the sun, and the fireplace adds warmth when needed. The trees came by their own accord, housing a variety of birds.
